Serves as Commissioner of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) since June 2018, currently also holding the position of Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower (2020-Now). Previously, he served as Secretary General of the Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (2015-2020). He held the position of Sub (Agency) Chairman of BALILATFO, Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (2017-2019), as Head of Center Analyst Coaching Center Policy (PUSAKA) LAN (2014-2019), Head of Center Innovation Institutional and Administration Resources (PIKSA) LAN (2014-2014), Head of Center Performance Review Institutional, LAN (2013-2014), Head of Division Center for Performance Studies Institutional, LAN (2007-2013), Head of Division Academic and Alumni Coaching, Spimnas Education and Training Center Leadership Field, LAN (2002-2003), and Head of Division Administration Research Center and System Development Information and Automation State Administration (SIOAN Research and Development Center), LAN (2001-2002).

He earned a Bachelor's degree from Gadjah Mada University in 1993, a Master's degree in Policy Analysis from Saitama University, Japan in 1998, a Doctorate degree in Policy Studies from the Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in 2007, and a Post-Doctoral degree from GRIPS in 2012.
