Pupuk Indonesia Distributes Assistance for Livestock Facilities and Infrastructure & Making Drilled Wells in North Sumatera

SILANGIT – PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) distributed assistance costs for the construction of livestock facilities and infrastructure and the manufacture of drilled wells in Silangit, North Sumatra (Sumut). The handover ceremony was held by the Director of Portfolio & Business Development of Pupuk Indonesia, Jamsaton Nababan to representatives of Huria Kristen Protestant (HKBP) Pearaja Tarutung.

Also present were the Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs III, Arya Sinulingga and several representatives of SOEs who participated in providing assistance. In her remarks, Arya said that the assistance for the construction of livestock facilities and infrastructure and the manufacture of drilled wells was a collaboration of 12 SOEs, namely PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), State Savings Bank (BTN), PT RNI, PT Semen Indonesia, PTPN VI, PT Antam, PT Inalum, IFG, Askrindo, Jamkrindo, Jasindo, and PT Pertamina.

"Hopefully this assistance can be useful for the HKBP, and not only this time but continuously," said Arya.

Pupuk Indonesia's Director of Portfolio & Business Development, Jamsaton Nababan said that Pupuk Indonesia participated in providing assistance in the form of a cost of around Rp. 207,500,000 which would be used for the development of cattle drums and socialization of training in Silangit.

"Pupuk Indonesia collaborated in the handover of SOE assistance for HKBP organized by the Ministry of SOEs. We hope that this assistance can be useful and this activity is a form of our commitment to improving the welfare of the community through the renovation of livestock pens," said Jamsaton.

Representative of HKBP Pearaja Tarutung, Victor Tinambunan expressed his high appreciation to the 12 SOEs that have collaborated to provide assistance in order to run the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL). The total aid funds provided from 12 SOEs to HKBP Pearaja Tarutung are around Rp 2.7 billion.

"We express our highest gratitude and appreciation for the assistance of CSR programs from BUMN. We are well aware that SOEs with this kind of great assistance, this very valuable SOE assistance for the welfare of HKBP residents, this is a clear proof that the core value of BUMN (Akhlak)," said Victor.
