Allocation Increased, Pupuk Indonesia Secures NPK Cocoa Fertilizer Availability and Distribution in Mamuju
Mamuju, November 4, 2026 – PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) has secured 909.55 tons of subsidized NPK Cocoa fertilizer stocks in Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi, to ensure smooth fertilizer redemption for farmers, particularly following the Government’s decision to increase the regency’s allocation by 500 tons to 5,670 tons.
The available stocks are distributed across several levels of the distribution network, comprising 6.6 tons at fertilizer retail outlets or Fertilizer Recipients at Delivery Points (PPTS), 13 tons at Distribution Business Operators (PUD), and 889.95 tons at buffer warehouses.
Regional CEO 4 of Pupuk Indonesia, Wisnu Ramadhani, said that based on the latest monitoring results, NPK Cocoa fertilizer stocks in Mamuju Regency remain available and sufficient. Pupuk Indonesia also continues to oversee distribution to ensure that farmers registered in the electronic Definitive Plan for Group Needs (e-RDKK) receive fertilizer according to their entitlements and applicable regulations.
“We continue to coordinate with local authorities and farmer groups to ensure that farmers’ fertilizer requirements are adequately met. With sufficient fertilizer supplies, we hope farmers can achieve optimal productivity,” Wisnu said.
He further explained that the local government had reallocated or adjusted fertilizer allocations to better accommodate farmers’ demand for NPK Cocoa. According to Wisnu, fertilizer requirements in the field may fluctuate depending on planting seasons and changes in farmers’ needs.
The additional allocation was established through Decree of the Head of the Mamuju Regency Food Crops, Horticulture, and Livestock Office No. 520/372.a/X/2026/DTPHP concerning the Second Reallocation of Subsidized Fertilizers for the Agricultural Sector in Mamuju Regency for Fiscal Year 2026. The adjustment took effect on October 30, 2026.
“This allocation adjustment is part of our efforts to accommodate farmers’ fertilizer requirements in the field. We continue to coordinate with the local government to ensure that fertilizer distribution aligns with actual demand and complies with applicable regulations,” Wisnu said.
The Government increased NPK Cocoa fertilizer allocations across nearly all districts in Mamuju Regency. In Mamuju District, the allocation rose from 270 tons to 300 tons, while Kalukku District received an increase from 780 tons to 830 tons.
Meanwhile, Kalumpang District’s allocation increased from 20 tons to 25 tons, Papalang from 1,341 tons to 1,411 tons, Sampaga from 1,062 tons to 1,112 tons, Tommo from 1,091 tons to 1,216 tons, and Simboro from 350 tons to 400 tons. In West Tapalang District, the allocation increased from 50 tons to 70 tons.
Regarding distribution performance, Wisnu revealed that as of November 3, 2026, NPK Cocoa fertilizer distribution in Mamuju Regency had reached 4,672 tons, equivalent to 82.40 percent of the total allocation of 5,670 tons. In Mamuju District specifically, distribution had reached 254 tons during the same period, representing approximately 84.67 percent of its allocation.
“These quantities have been distributed to meet the needs of farmers registered in the e-RDKK. This allows farmers to obtain fertilizer according to their schedules and requirements, helping them achieve optimal productivity,” Wisnu said.
He added that Pupuk Indonesia continues to coordinate with farmer groups, PUD, and PPTS to accelerate distribution of the remaining allocation. Coordination with relevant government agencies is also being maintained to monitor changes in fertilizer demand and identify potential allocation adjustments when necessary.
“Our foremost priority is to ensure that fertilizers remain available and reach eligible farmers according to their needs and applicable regulations. We will continue to oversee the distribution process while ensuring that any challenges faced by farmers are addressed through coordination and joint solutions with the local government,” Wisnu concluded.
